Facilities & Services
Our bedrooms are bright and individually decorated to a high standard. A nurse call system, telephone and T.V. point is provided in each bedroom, most of which are en-suite. All rooms are fully furnished however, should any residents wish to personalise their rooms by using their own belongings we will do our best to accommodate this.All bedroom doors are fitted with Yale locks and have smoke and heat detectors.
Brompton Lodge has a choice of bathing facilities, with bathrooms being fitted with bath hoists and walk in showers. All our bathrooms have disabled access.
Brompton Lodge is fully centrally heated with thermostatic control in each room. We have three lounges, all equipped with televisions and musics systems for the residents enjoyment.
There are no set visiting hours and visitors are welcome at any time of the day.
All clothing is laundered on the premises. However we ask that all items of personal clothing are clearly marked with the residents name and are suitable for machine washing and tumble drying. We cannot accept responsibility for clothing damaged which is not intended to be laundered commercially.
By arrangement, residents attending hospital and dental appointments can be escorted by members of staff if required.
All prescriptions are arranged and collected by either management or our pharmacist.
There is a small shop on the premises where toiletries, stationery, stamps and confectionery may be purchased.
The services that are not included in the fees are hairdressing, private chiropody, daily newspapers, magazines and periodicals, telephone charges for outgoing calls and private transport costs.
If residents require us to purchase clothing and personal items this can be arranged. The cost of the items is met by the resident.
BROMPTON LODGE operates a ‘No Smoking’ policy in accordance with the law.
